We redesigned the Claro packaging family to bring a new brand strategy to the shelf. Claro is one of the brands in the Alianza Team portfolio.
In 2024, Alianza Team renewed the brand’s strategy. As a result, the packaging family needed to be more visible in physical stores. It also had to help the target audience remember the brand.
We redesigned the full packaging family in line with the new brand strategy. We designed from the shelf, because that is where a pack competes with many other brands at once. To do this, we started from two questions: how the brand reads from a distance, and how quickly each variant can be identified.
In addition, we made sure every variant reads as part of one family. That way, shoppers recognise the brand even when they switch products. As a result, the pack stops being just a container and becomes the first point of contact with the brand.
A consistent Claro packaging family that gives the brand more presence at the point of sale and supports brand recall. It also shows why good packaging is a branding tool: it is often the first thing a shopper sees and touches. In other words, the pack is where the brand makes its first impression.
