We designed the CME publication, a document with recommendations on the respectful handling of the right to peaceful public digital protest.
Present technical recommendations clearly and accessibly. The document had to be easy for any reader to review and understand.
First, we created an organised visual structure and a content hierarchy that guides the reader from one recommendation to the next. Then we chose legible typography and designed explanatory graphics that clarify the most technical points. This keeps the document easy to follow, even for readers new to the subject.
In addition, we prepared two versions of the document: one for print and one for digital use. For this reason, each version was adapted to its purpose without losing visual consistency. As a result, the publication works just as clearly on paper as on screen.
A set of recommendations has to be easy to consult. In other words, readers should find the idea they need quickly and understand it without effort. For example, clear headings and simple graphics help them review the content point by point.
A professional publication, available in print and digital formats, that combines clarity and good design to communicate effectively. It is also an example of editorial design serving rights-related topics such as freedom of expression, which today is also exercised online. In short, the design makes technical content easier to read, review and share.
